All work, services and products of vb&t Fire Safety are governed by The New Regulations 2011 (DNR 2011, revised July 2013). The DNR 2011 covers the general conditions for designing, advising and organising for the built environment for clients and contractors. It is a balanced and widely used regulation for concluding agreements between consultants and clients. The DNR is a joint initiative of the Association of Dutch Architects (BNA) and NLingenieurs. In connection with the DNR 2011, a number of other documents have been drawn up, such as the Standard Terms of Reference (STB).
