More importantly: it prevented a worse outcome.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday morning, 23 March 2021, at around 8 am, a fire broke out in the car park of the Veemgebouw at Strijp S in Eindhoven. A vehicle caught fire, and the sprinkler system contained the blaze with one sprinkler head.<\/p>\n<p>The fire brigade arrived quickly and were able to safely enter the car park and extinguish the fire. Photos show that the damage is limited. It is still unclear how the fire started.
