New colleague: Junior Fire Safety Advisor
Since 1 February, we have been delighted to welcome Friso Teske as Junior Fire Safety Consultant within vb&t Brandveiligheid. With his background in architectural engineering and his growing specialisation in fire safety, he is a valuable addition to our team.
Friso brings relevant practical experience with him. Among other things, he has been involved with fire spread calculations, evacuation calculations, and carrying out fire scans. This combination of analytical work and inspections fits well with the activities of vb&t Brandveiligheid.
Having completed his studies in architectural engineering, Friso consciously chose to delve further into the field. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Building Physics at TU Eindhoven, combining his studies with his work at vb&t Brandveiligheid. This link between theory and practice allows him to directly apply and further develop his knowledge.
Friso speaks
“I am currently working hard on my Building Physics degree, but I will never find out how things work in practice just by studying.I am working. Therefore, I am always looking for opportunities to further expand my knowledge and experience within the built environment. Fire safety This is an important part of it. It is a field with many challenges due to the strict regulations, where one mistake can lead to major consequences. It is precisely that responsibility and complexity that appeal to me.
At vb&t Brandveiligheid, I'm getting the opportunity to immediately apply my theoretical knowledge in practice while simultaneously learning a lot from experienced colleagues. That combination makes it an ideal environment for me to further develop myself. I look forward to gaining a lot of experience in the coming period and contributing to the large number of projects.”
